PRAYER FOR RELATIONSHIP:

Dear God, we come before You praying for our relationships. We know that You are love and have the authority to preserve healthy relations and also the power to bring reconciliation and restoration to broken relationships. We ask that You teach us and all those we love to work together toward building healthy and loving relationships that will bring You glory.

Please protect our family bonds, relationships, and friendships from all evil and harm. Teach us how to build thriving relations and empower us to be peacemakers. We know relationships aren’t easy and require effort, so we ask that You partner with us in all our relations with family and friends. Help us to know which relationships are approved by You and which are unhealthy in our lives.

Help us to overcome all struggles and conflicts within our relationships. Empower us to put aside our pride, wrong attitudes, resentment, and any anger we may have toward another. Give us hearts of humility and help us to be quick to ask for forgiveness when we have wronged another. Give anyone who has wounded us the courage and grace to reach out and make amends.

Give us wisdom, and patience, and help us communicate in loving and respectful ways as we seek to reconcile and restore broken relationships. Teach us how to resolve our differences and find peace with each other that would bring about lasting reconciliation.

We ask that You comfort those who are grieving the loss of a relationship and any who are separated from their loved ones because of broken harmony. Heal their pain and shattered hearts and give them hope for the future.

We ask that You preserve and protect the relationships that are within Your plans for our lives. No matter how painful, please help us release any unhealthy relationships that are not in Your purpose and will for us.

We know that You can do all things, and we ask that You help us to grow in You and continue to bless our family relationships and friendships with Your peace and love.

We trust, believe, and ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
