PRAYER FOR SALVATION:
Salvation is a priceless gift, bought and paid for by the obedience, blood, and sacrificial death of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We do not earn salvation; it is an eternal gift but the one thing we can do is make the choice to receive it. If you are ready to begin an everlasting relationship with God, begin by conversing with God in prayer.
A sinner’s prayer includes whom to pray to, (God) and the purpose of your prayer, (Salvation).
It’s as easy as ABC.
Acknowledge your creator, God, and admit you are a sinner in need of the Savior Jesus Christ. Repent, ask for forgiveness and God’s help to turn away from your sins.
Believe Jesus Christ is the only way to Heaven and has paid for your sins and full redemption by His obedience, blood, and sacrificial death upon the cross.
Confess that you have chosen to make Jesus Christ the Lord and leader of your life forever.
Below is a suggested sinner’s prayer for salvation but we encourage you to pray your own personal prayer for redemption, speaking to God from your heart. He is listening and ready to welcome you as His child.
“Dear God, I admit I am a sinner, and I am sorry for my sins. I ask for your forgiveness and help to turn away from my sins. I believe Jesus Christ paid for my sins and brought me salvation through His obedience, blood, and sacrificial death upon the cross. Cleanse me God and make me Your child. By faith, I receive and confess Jesus Christ as the Savior and Lord of my life. From now on, help me live for You and I choose to put You in control. Guide me and help me to do Your will. I welcome you into my heart and life forever. I pray this in the name of Jesus Christ my Savior and soon coming King. Amen. “
