WHAT IS PRAYER? â€‹

On this page, you will find written prayers available to help you pray. We have also included video prayers that allow Theresa and other prayer ministers to pray for you personally around the clock.

Sometimes, we underestimate the power of prayer. Yet, many lives have been changed, saved, healed, and set free through the sacred act of prayer.

First, we must realize it is important to whom we direct our prayers toward. The only one with the power and authority to answer our prayers is Father God.

(Hebrews 11:6)

What is prayer you may wonder? Simply put, prayer is the heartfelt, sincere, transparent conversations we have with God. It is a dialogue between you and God. Prayer is not a monologue where we do all the talking but we take time to also listen and allow God to speak to us.

(Hebrews 4:16)

Prayer is so very important that even Jesus prayed to Father God. Jesus instructs us to pray and teaches us how to pray.

(John 11: 41-42, Mark 1:35, Mark 6:46, Luke 11:1-13)

When we pray, we are instructed to pray in the name of Jesus Christ.

(John 14:13-14, John 15:16)

We support the importance of prayer and encourage others to strengthen and deepen their prayer life.

Luke 18:1 “…men ought always to pray, and not to faint.” 1 Thessalonians 5:17 “Pray without ceasing.”

We join with you in faith regarding your prayer request and hope you are blessed through our Prayer Page. Please send us your praise report when GOD answers your prayers.

Who Will Pray
By Theresa Westbrook 4-18-2018

When the morning sun begins to rise,
Who awakens and answers the call to pray?
When the sun sinks low,
Who with weary flesh will answer the call to pray?
Prayer is such a powerful and important thing,
That anyone can do,
But those who will faithfully kneel and pray are few.
Worshipping our Heavenly Father with thankful hearts is how we begin,
Then confessing Jesus Christ as Lord and repenting of our sins.
Asking G
od for His guidance and protection all along our way,
Then silently listening to what our precious Lord has to say.
His words are filled with power, wisdom, and authority,
Yet conveyed through His gentleness, love, and mercy.
We must not forget our family and friends,
Because through prayer they are guided, as God intends.
Sometimes praying is a struggle,
Sometimes it’s a delight,
Sometimes the burden gets heavy,
But in Jesus’ name victory is always within sight.
Who will answer the call to pray when troubles and trials come to me?
My friend, I pray it is thee.
